چکیده

This paper proposes a Takagi–Sugeno (T–S) fuzzy region model to relax the original one. Such switching concept has got rid of the complicated analysis of parallel distributed compensation (PDC). By mixing genetic algorithm (GA) and linear matrix inequality (LMI), we present a new hybrid approach about the static output feedback controller design. It is unlike other researches that involve abstruse mathematic transformations and system constraints that are difficult to find. In this paper, we fix the static output feedback gains by GA to solve the non-convex problem. It is proved that the existence of a set of solvable non-linear matrix inequality (NLMI) suffices to guarantee the stabilization of T–S fuzzy region system in H1 sense. Numerical examples are given to illustrate the effectiveness of the algorithm and validate the new method. 2007 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.

Evolutionary design of static output feedback controller for Takagi–Sugeno fuzzy systems

The design of a static output feedback fuzzy controller for nonlinear systems based on Takagi–Sugeno (T–S) fuzzy models is addressed. To avoid complex mathematical derivations and conservative results, a genetic algorithm (GA) is integrated with a linear matrix inequality (LMI) optimisation to seek the static output feedback gains that satisfy the Lyapunov stability inequalities with a decay ra...

Static Output Feedback for Takagi-sugeno Systems: an Lmi Approach

This paper studies the design of a static output feedback controller for nonlinear systems described by continuous-time Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) models. Motivated by stability results developed for parallel distributed compensation (PDC) controller, an Output PDC (OPDC) controller that corresponds to a nonlinear static output feedback control law is proposed. Both stabilisation and poles placement a...

Control Design of Fuzzy Systems with Immeasurable Premise Variables

The Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy model is described by fuzzy if-then rules which represent local linear systems of the underlining nonlinear systems (Takagi & Sugeno, 1985; Tanaka et al., 1996; Tanaka & Sugeno, 1992) and thus it can describe a wide class of nonlinear systems. In the last decade, nonlinear control design methods based on Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy system have been explored. Since the stability ...

Passive Delayed Static Output Feedback Control for a Class of T-S Fuzzy Systems

This paper investigates the problem of passive delayed static output feedback control for a class of fuzzy systems. The system is described by a statespace Takagi–Sugeno (T-S) fuzzy model with additive delays and interval parameter uncertainties. The aim is to design a fuzzy delayed static output feedback controller which ensures the closed-loop system is passive for all admissible uncertaintie...

Output Feedback Fuzzy Control for Uncertain Nonlinear Systems

In this paper, a fuzzy control scheme, which employs the output feedback control approach, is suggested for the stabilization of nonlinear systems with uncertainties. The uncertain nonlinear system can be represented by uncertain Takagi-Sugeno (TS) fuzzy model structure, which is further rearranged to give a set of uncertain linear systems. A switching-type fuzzy-model-based controller, which u...
